about

Musically inspired by bands like; Chris & Cosey, Nocturnal Emissions, Death In June, Front 242, Trisomie 21, Neon Judgement, Klinik, Stiff Kittens, Poesie Noire, Dive, Skinny Puppy, Coil, Siglo XX, Bourbonese Qualk, Venus In Furs, etc... so there reached a time where we would create music with a style that would reflect some elements from the above Artists, plus include our own experimental approach.

We started off with: Under Construction , band members consisted of; Graham Parkinson: vocals, guitar & engineer, Adam Marchbank on drums, Mark Kinghan; vocals, and Mike Rea on Bass.
Style was alternative/post-punk, inspirations; "The Sound', 'Hunters & Collectors', 'Red Lorry Yellow Lorry', 'Mediium Medium', '1000 Mexicans', 'Comsat Angels', 'Shreikback', etc, etc.
From this line up, the track; 'War Toyz' was spawned which received some poz' reviews & was played on student radio 95BFM, N.Z.

The next project was Nazi Disco (formed 1993), later, called; Naz-Co... due to name being too controversial, band Members; Mark Wallbank: Vocals, Keys, Drum Programming, etc, Rhys Braddock: Guitar, and Mike Rea on Bass. The style here was more Industrial/EBM, and the inspirations amongst the band were: 'Front 242', 'Skinny Puppy', 'Revolting Cocks', etc, etc. Our most reviewed track: "Sin".

At the same time of Naz-Co, i was working on a new project called, Reflex Condition, we did like basement type recordings using an X15 Fostex Four Track Porta-Studio... pretty primitive compared to today's standards, but was great to have the freedom of experimentation... lots of tape sampling, extensive delay treatments, via an old Boss DD2 Digital Delay, we applied it to a acoustic drum kit, as well as a Doncamatic Drum Machine that was synced up to a Korg Drum Machine... created some amazing noise, well sounded ok in my head anyway LOL.

Nowadays, we're still working on new Reflex Condition music, the cogs are continually turning, can't stop now... as always in search of that perfect piece of musical magic!.
